Airtel & Vodafone counter Reliance Jio ‘Happy New Year’ offer, with new plans
Bharti Airtel added to its existing data schemes by allowing an additional 3GB of data each month per year for customers for 12 months if they switch to Airtel’s 4G network. (Reuters)As a counter to Reliance Jio’s Happy New Year offer, rival service providers Airtel and Vodafone, have decided to add fuel to the tariff wars by announcing their own plans. Vodafone has unveiled a new offer in which it will offer unlimited 4G/3G data for one hour, priced at Rs 16. This offer starts from January 9. The new recharge pack by Vodafone, called as SuperHour can be continuously purchased through digital platforms as well as in all the retailer points. The SuperHour pack will be available to 2G customers at Rs 5. The network provider will also offer unlimited on-net calls for Rs 7. Meanwhile, Telecom operator Bharti Airtel added to its existing data schemes by allowing an additional 3GB of data each month per year for customers for 12 months if they switch to Airtel’s 4G network. According to reports, the offer will open on January 4, 2017, and will close on February 28, 2017. The offer will be available to Airtel customers across India. Airtel will offer free 3GB/month data for 1 year to new 4G customers. The extra data offering follows its December 8 announcement of unlimited voice. This new offer will be available each month until December 31, over and above what is available on the regular plan. For pre-paid customers, Airtel offers unlimited calling to any network in the country and 1 GB of 4G data for Rs 345. Any customers switching to Airtel 4G will now get free local and STD calls and 4GB data. ALSOO SEE:-ENGINEER JOB UPDATEHAPPY BIRTYHDAY BIPASHABASUMORE UPDATE
